The Czech Social Security Administration (ČSSZ) warns of an ongoing campaign of fraudulent phone calls. During the call, the caller tries to convince you to enter your sensitive information, banking account access data, or credit card information on a fraudulent ČSSZ website.
This is an attack combining vishing (fraudulent phone calls) and smishing (fraudulent SMS), where during the call, you are also sent an SMS message urging you to visit a fake ČSSZ web page with a link to it. We want to remind you that the only official websites of ČSSZ are www.cssz.cz and eportal.cssz.cz.
Just like ČSSZ, we ask users not to respond to such invitations and messages and not to open links of this type. If you have already entered your banking details, contact your bank immediately. More information can be found on the ČSSZ website.
