Warning: Beware of fraudulent messages claiming to be from MultiSport
Masaryk University's cyber security team warns of an increased risk of spear-phishing attacks targeting users of Masaryk University, exploiting the name of the company MultiSport.
What's going on?
Spear-phishing is a social engineering technique where an attacker uses psychological manipulation to obtain sensitive information or access secure systems.
What to do?
Just like MultiSport, we ask users to be cautious when receiving any messages regarding their MultiSport account or card in the coming weeks. If you receive a similarly formulated message:
- do not respond to the email;
- do not click on the attached links;
- please report it to our team, ideally including the email header.
