Members of CSIRT-MU share their knowledge through the courses at the Faculty of Informatics at Masaryk University.
• Laboratory of Advanced Network Technologies (PV177)
The course has the form of a team project. It is aimed at mastering the principles of network technologies and alson on research methodology and presentation of research results.
CSIRT-MU members teach in KYPOLAb seminar group. This group is focused on introducing the reality of current network attacks in the same way as university security team encounters them on a daily basis.
• Cyber security in an organization (PV210)
The general objective of the course is the introduction of services of a computer security incident response team (CSIRT) in an organization.
At the end of the course student should be able to: understand basic services of a CSIRT; use basic tools of a CSIRT;
• Advanced Topics of Cyber Security (PA211)
The aim of this course is understanding of advanced security concepts in design, devolopment and analysis of systems and tools which are used by CSIRT team.
Graduate of this course shall be also able to select appropriate methods of security monitoring, analysis and digital forensics for a given application.
• Secure Network Design (PA197)
The aim of this course is understanding of methods and technologies which are fundamental for design of secure network.
At the end of the course the students will be also able to design architecture of network and deploy securely sensor networks.
• Domain specific development in C/C++ (PB173)
In this course students will learn how to use modern development tools and apply good programming habits. They will also be able to better understand how to deal with practical problems in areas of their focus.
At the end of the course students should be able to create maintainable and extensible applications, find and remove bugs in programs by debugging and prevent its occurrence by systematic testing.
